Hotels near the Swan Club...Need help!!!

Hi, ladies!!!! You've always been so helpful in the past...maybe you can help me with this one. I cannot seem to find hotels near the Swan Club in Roslyn for my out-of-town guests. There's the Roslyn Claremont which is beautiful but expensive. I was hoping to find a hotel that is alittle more affordable as well. Any ideas?

Both myself and my guests are staying at the Harrison House in Glen Cove. If you book online and ahead of time, it is less expensive. I'm paying $139/night. My mom booked last week (less than a month ahead of time) and she is paying $169/night. If you block rooms, they will lock you in at the lowest rate. It is a beautiful hotel (owned by Hilton) and the most affordable I could find in the area. Check out their website - www.harrisonconference.com/properties/glencove/index.html

Re: Hotels near the Swan Club...Need help!!!

I second the Harrison House. We got married at the Sans Souci, right around the corner from Swan Club and it was an easy choice for our guests. We also got a rate of $139. We also stayed there in a bridal suite, it was $350. However, the $139 rooms were just as nice and we look back and think we should've saved the money. Since we had an afternoon wedding, we were able to unwind with some of our guests at their pub upstairs. Everyone really enjoyed their stay. The grounds are also beautiful, but you sign a contract with a clause that says their brides get exclusive rights, so you can't take pictures on the grounds while in your gown. That was not a problem for us.

I spent a lot of time looking for hotels up in that area. There is also the East Norwich Inn, although it's not too close (maybe 10 miles the most), but it's an easy ride - rates there are very reasonable. It is located behind Chas Rothman's Steakhouse on the corner of Northern Blvd. (Rt. 25A) and Rt. 106.

There is also a Farifield Inn on Jericho Tpke in Syosset. that's also not too bad of a ride from the Swan Club.

Good Luck!!
