Okay, so this is going to be a two-parter.
* We STILL don't know what is going on with the offer for the house - (some background info: I work FT at a different job but I also have my real estate license so I am acting as my own agent) - I verbally told the offer to the agent who was at the open house, she was covering for the listing agent so she told me she'd present it to the listing agent that way she can present it to the seller - this was Saturday - so now its Monday night and the listing agent gets back to me and wants the offer in writing - fine, so I go to my office to fax it to her and after about 30 minutes she calls saying she still hasn't gotten it - her fax machine isn't working... ughhhhhh so annoying!!! So now tomorrow when I get to my other job I'll have to fax it to her - some things are just never simple.
* Mini-review of NHP INN
The shower was the BEST shower I've ever been to in my life. Yes, I am only 26, but I have been to numerous showers between family and friends and o-m-g this place is out of this world. I'm not sure if it is because of a package that she selected but she had like a mini breakfast buffet cart set up - it had sliced mini bagels, danishes, fresh baked mini muffins, assorted fruit, etc. Then they had hot stations - eggplant rollitini (didn't try), chicken franchese (was sort of dried out), roasted potatoes (really good), salmon (didn't try), carving stations - turkey and steak (also, I didn't try), and she had a scrambled egg omlette thing going (eggs were really good) and belgian waffles because a lot of her friends are nurses and work crazy shifts so for some of them the shower was held around the time that they wake up in the morning. She also had waiters who passed around food before the buffet station was opened up - I had the spring rolls, chicken satee, chicken dumplings, etc - all were REALLY good. She also had servers who were walking around with mimosas and champagne punch as well as two slurpee-like stations and also an open bar. She also had a HUGE cake and then an ice cream sundae station set up soooo good!!!
One of the things I noticed too was the maitre-d, it was a girl - she was constantly always around and helping them out because this shower was like something I've never seen - I went in with the gift for the shower and wound up leaving with a Kate Spade makeup case, one of those Copco plastic coffee cups filled with chocolate, a bath and body works soap, a Tiffanys, yes Tiffanys, crystal bowl and then a potted Orchid plant (I won the centerpiece at my table) - The Tiffany's gift was the favor for everyone and they had at least 100 of them and they were taking them all out of this huge box and displaying them almost like a mini army with such precision it looked awesome - I wish I had pictures but I forgot my camera bc my mind has been so focused on this house.
Ohhh also, the bathrooms there are AMAZING!!!! You go into the 'Ladies' room and literally there are about 7 doors and it is your own mini private bathroom - GENIOUS!!! You have your own toilet, sink, mirror and garbage pail - really a high class touch that I think any woman can appreciate.
All in all, NHP Inn girls have NOTHING to worry about!! It is sooo beautiful there and the Valet guys are super friendly and accomodating (they had carts that they loaded the presents for the shower right out of my trunk and then they reloaded them back into the bride and grooms cars) - Also, the room the shower was in was the Tuscany room.
Any more questions, feel free to FM me!!!
