Well, we will be moving out of state, so it will be prob a year and a half before we buy. FH is actually looking forward to living in a real apartment. We rent a house right now and we still do all the yard work and stuff. So he is looking forward to the break from it. LOL. I'm looking forward to the break from cleaning a whole house!! I loved cleaning my apartment. This house exhausts me!

We currently live in my moms house - a mother/daughter - that has an apt. upstairs. We are not going to look for a house until after the wedding because we did not want to try and pay a mortgage and save for a wedding at the same time.

We are living in my fathers house until we get married ( no rent, woohoo!!). Since we are not taking out any loans or putting any wedding expenses on credit cards, whatever gift money we get, will be ours and we will use that for a house. We plan on house hunting as soon as we are married. Luckily, FH is in the military so we get the veterans home loan, so that will be a great help!!! I cant wait to have my own place!!!!!!!

Not immediately. Still want to save as much as we can without jumping right into buying a house..I'm so nervous for that..

Yes... after the wedding is over any money that we receive as gifts from the wedding will be going directly towards a house and we will continue to save for one and then hopefully start looking about 6 months after

Same here. We're hoping to save enough before that we can 'close' with the envelopes from the wedding
