FH and I have started saving for a house, probably won't be at the search part until after the wedding. If you do not mind me asking, how much did you all have to put down as a down payment? where is your mortgage through? do you get a preapproval before you start searching or after you found something you like? TIA so much!
We put 15% down, and were preapproved before we found something we liked. I live in Massachusetts so the mortgage company info won't be that useful to you.
