How much do you want to spend on a house????? We just found one in Deer Park for $349 and its really nice for the money. We are about to go into contract. I would just look, look and look again. Sat and Sun Newsday is the best. Plus, drive around in the area to find open houses. I feel like some of the open houses are not always listed in the paper. And dont ever hesitate to make an appointment if you see something online because before you know it it is usually sold already.

My parents live in WB and there are always houses for under $400 in the area. same with Lindenhurst.
