Houses . . .

Houses . . .

If the mortgage nonsense weren't going on, we have enough for a down-payment. But since we don't have 20%, we don't qualify for a mortgage.

I don't want to live with my MIL anymore!

My fh is a mortgage broker and a real estate agent and there are still mortgages that you do not need 20% down. If you would like to talk to him he has a really cool program that he is offering right now, let me know

Would you consider buying a co-op? I couldn't imagine living with my parents or FIL's. Although I love them to death and living at home for a year after graduating from college, there is nothing like having your own place.

Best of luck, maybe it might take a little while but once you find the one things will fall into place.

I hope so. I've only been living with my MIL since April, but it has been slowly driving me crazy(er).

We are in the same situation!!!! My sister offered to let us live with her and her husband so that way we could use the money from the wedding towards a down payment. Haven't decided yet. I have a little bit of credit card debt but httas because all my money goes towards the wedding. My fiance and are are going to check out Wells Fargo. They have great programs for little or no down payments. Check it out!!!
