I am not sure how many people are doing these? I don't think I will just because I assume they are expensive... but maybe if someone posts a really great one I will become inspired!!

I asked my hall, Russo's about it and I am not allowed to have an outside vendor but they are willing to make it and it would be another $2.50 a person. Not so bad.

I might have one at the rehearsal luncheon.

FH is a musician and I'm planning on bringing in a picture of his guitar so they can replicate it.

Uou can take a picture of anything and a good baker should be able to replicate it. Just remember 3-D cakes (trucks, baseall mit) will be extra because they take a lot more labor than decorating a sheet cake.

We had ours at the rehearsal dinner, it was made by The Chocolate Duck in Farmingdale. DH is a huge superhero fan! It came out great and tasted delicious (chocolate cake with chocolate mousse and lemon fondant).
