We already lost electricity this morning, I had to scramble to find a flashlight and all my clothes, what a PIA, a powerline went down in town on top of a building, they had people trapped inside and couldn't get LIPA to get there butts down there. My brother is a volunteer firefighter, so I got to hear all the details which is handy b/c that's my usual way to work. I hope this doesn't get much worse.

I know, it's ridiculous.
The lot I can park in for free is about a 10 minute walk from my building... today I decided to suck it up and pay for parking in the garage right next to the building... I did NOT want to have to walk here in this rain! Driving in it was bad enough.
