How accurate is www.accuweather.com???

I'm hoping it's not too accurate! When I look at Aug. 31, it says it's going to be raining for like 4 days straight, and my wedding day falls right in the middle. When I look at weather.com (weather channel) it only has up to Aug. 30, but Aug. 29 and 30, it says 0% chance of rain and mostly sunny? What do you think? I know it's far in advance for the weather, but I was just wondering. Thanks!

Re: How accurate is www.accuweather.com???

It's generally pretty accurate for the current day and the next one or two. Beyond that, it changes a lot, so don't worry yet!

I was watching the forcast for a recent BBQ and 10 days out it was calling for rain, and as it got closer and closer the chances of rain lessened. All summer long I've seen a day or two of rain predicted, and we've hardly had any at all.

You'll also see big changes between NYC, Queens and various parts of LI, so be sure to enter the exact town your church is in.

Where can you find your weather?? I wouldn't be too worried it might be rain, real early or real late.. and if it does rain just as long as your in the church or done with pictures who cares.
This month and the next few I dont consider them too accurate with the summer storms that come and go

Melissa - if you check Accuweather it's now showing mixed clouds and sun for Sat. the 31st now. That's the forcast for my hometown in western Suffolk on the south shore. All the ominous lightning bolts are gone!
