So we went to FH's brothers wedding this past weekend. Whole story, but not too into his brother. But get this...he came out with gifts for the grooms, and they were engraved pocket knives, just like WE got for ALL OF OURS! In addition, later on I find out its the same engraving on our bands. Its just annoying. Now I have to go out and buy more gifts and just eat the costs of the others. And they were expensive!

How many of the same GMs are in your FH's brother's wedding? I don't think you need to go get all new gifts.

I agree with this. I would only change the gifts for the men who are in both wedding parties.

Tell me about it! The whole wedding he had was in spite, long story. We FORCED them to get married in December because we took June...yada yada. So hes been bitter ever since. And as for the # of GM in my wedding party...its 3 of them! FH has 3 brothers! Grr...

3 of them! Their his brothers. And they kept playing with their knives. I wanted to kill them. Then the groom heard that I got the same gifts, and he screamed infront of the family... 'I dont care! I had my wedding in December because of YOU!' BTW...he was also forced to invite only 20 people and family couldnt go because I made them get married early. Hes a shmuck.

I think you should still give them. Guys love those things and they lose them easily. Also they are his brothers, I am sure they know what happened, don't worry about it, the last thing you need to do is to think about something else to get them. Especially if you already had them personalized, you can't give them back, don't throw your money in the garbage!
