i'm a summer bride and i am doing pretty goood. time is moving along quick---i've been married over 100 days already, thats crazy. since the wedding i moved to charlotte, started grad school and a new job...lots of fun stuff.

I'm here.....been busy taking courses at St. Johns (2nd masters), doing my hour & a half commute to/from work, enjoying time w/ DH and just enjoying married life.

I am doing good. The move to Australia went better than I expected. I thought it would take me a while to find a job and a while for us to find an apartment. I found a job and we found an apartment within 2 weeks. I wasnt expecting it at all and it was a bit stressful, but it was good that it happened like that. I am such a procrastinator, that I still havent finished unpacking. But to be fair, I have been really busy.

Im doing well. I absolutely LOVE being married and i love Matt more than ever!!!!!!!
I had moments of missing wedding planning but as time is going by, i miss it less and less.
My thank you cards are done so im picking those up tomorrow and will start to write them out. So i guess im still 'in it'

WOW...how is Austrailia???
good. the weather is strange this time of year b/c we are going into summer. last week it was 90 and 2morrow it will be 70.... I miss the NY autumns....
i miss my family a lot, but i knew i would. The time difference makes it even more difficult to talk to them (it is 1.30 AM Monday morning or 16 hours ahead here). DH and I got a cat so that is fun. I work a lot so that keeps me busy, and I have made a few friends through work so that is good. I also keep myself busy with decorating. We dont have a TV yet so I get bored sometimes, but i dont think we are going to get a TV b/c they only have 5 channels here and cable is very expensive, but the beach is always close by....
ETA- Xmas is coming up (they have already started with xmas stuff here already) and it is going to be so strange to have it in 100 degree weather, they go swimming and have BBQs on xmas. Last xmas here it was 105....

WOW that must be so weird since you were married in the summer and now its summer there. Are you going to live there forever? IS your DH from there??? Sorry I don;t remember

Yeah, he is Australian. We only plan to live here for another 3-4 years, then hopefully move back to NY or to the UK.

Yeah, he is Australian. We only plan to live here for another 3-4 years, then hopefully move back to NY or to the UK.

I'm good over here! I've definitely been on here less, but I try and pop in to see what is going on.
Right now we're still wrapping up the proof process, and waiting for the video to come in.
Summer flew by, and the wedding already seems like years ago!

I'm here...I must admit I spend A LOT more time over on LIF now, but once and a while I pop on back here... doing well we moved to NC into our house...I was busy finding a new job which took a little over a month and now i just started working, just over a month now. Enjoying the married life!
