How are my WW brides doing?

For my state of mind I want to lose app. 20lbs for the wedding so I feel beyond confident that I look my best!! I am down 12.2 lbs, it's starting to get rough. How is everyone else doing?

Down 19! Just keep at it. It is difficult sometimes, but it will be worth it.

I have a question....I got the materials from WW but found that the point system is kinda confusing. I was not loosing weight on the core plan (prob b/c of portion size).

Any suggestions?

Im going strong, being that I just started like 2 days ago. I have been drinking a ton of water and feel MUCH less bloated, was down 2 lbs today already but not real weight probably. I already feel better though. Im eating proper proportions.

WW girls, lets keep eachother updated on progress from time to time like this!

Tell me more maybe I can help, what did you find confusing. You most likely didn't loose for two reasons on core. It takes about two weeks to loose on core.... and you most likely are unfamilar with portion size. I did flex for a year now and I have switched to core since I plateaued...(sp?). But I haven't lost just yet. I will give it a straight two weeks. You MUST drink your water too, that is what gets things moving lol

I'm playing with a few lbs...up and down b/c I can't seem to stay committed. I'm a WW-vetran and lifetime member and I always go through periods where I'm super committed and others when I can't have one good day.
I just switched back from Core to Flex...hopefully the change will help.

do points...

use their website and you can either use the original points tracker (i use that one, the new one screws w/ my comp) and search for the foods you eat by brand and type and it will tell you how many pts depending on the size portion you eat and you can directly input it into your food log thing on there. OR you can just look at the nutrition facts for everything you eat (adjusting for serving size you actually eat) and use the 'points calculator' on WW site to input the food's calories, fat, and fiber and it will calculate the points for you and then you can enter it into the log through the 'ExpressTrack your POINTS values.'

Re: How are my WW brides doing?

In the beggining I lost the majority of my weight but now it is coming off slowely but surely a lb. here a lb. there. I find the point system to be working pretty good! What were you confused about?

Re: How are my WW brides doing?

I guess the point system seems like a large time commitment because you need to look everything up before you eat? It seemed overwhelming when I got all those books and having to look everything up.

Is there any easy way to do it? do you do their pre-portioned frozen meals?

Oh, so you use the website not the books to look everything up?

The best advice I can give you is to plan out everything. Stick to chiken or fish and even cold cuts are good. The WW products are even great.

oh goodness, Id be annoyed and overwhelmed by books. I do the online program and it takes all of 1 minute or less to log what Ive had to eat. So easy.

Also to make sure Im doing proper portions, I use lean cuisines for dinners many times.

Ok. I'm gonna try this again.

What if I eat salad everyday for lunch with only chicken and veggies in it. How many points would that be?

Re: How are my WW brides doing?

I have followed weight watchers on and off for a couple of years but now started to try and follow it again more srictly since last week with the points system; its not that bad to count the points because you pretty much start to remember a lot of themin your head.
I have lost about 8 lbs over the past month!I want to try to lose anohter 15-20lbs
