FH and I were supposed to be out in in all weekend, but we did one day, I got sunburned and nearly had sunstroke. So the people we were with asked to pull us out of the fair, so we did.
How did y'all fair in the storms and heat? I am trying to stay in the AC as much as possible (prob,the room in Hofstra we are in for bar review doesnt have the AC on)

no AC in Hofstra?? thats crazy...you would think they had AC in every room...
I've just been staying in the AC, but I am the moron who just turned the oven on and made muffins...but they are good...worth the bit of heat!!

lol, yeah. The kitchen is one place I can tolerate it being hot, the result is usualy worth it, especially when eating it in the nice cold air conditioning lol
YEah, every so often tehre is a burst of coolish air, then it heats up again.

trying to manage, luckily my room is the only room in the house with ac-my mom doesn't really like central air or ac, so a couple of years ago i bought my own-thank god and work is absolutely freezing like an ice box

We are in the new apartment and we don't have central ac. We just have two wall units and it *****!!!!!!!!!! I am sitting in front of the wall unit now. If you couldn't tell I get crabby when I am hot! Thats why I am having a winter wedding! lol!

I went to the gym earlier today. I must be crazy or have a death wish because I was sweating like CRAZY. I had to leave after only 45 minutes.
Now I have 3 fans going cuz I dont have an A.C in my bedroom

I was at work today with no ac...it wasnt terrible- which i was surprised about...but when I went to class tonight- the room was a sauna...but it worked out in my favor the prof let us go really early!

we lost electricity at my job yesterday, they have a generator in the lab but not the building we're in. fifteen minutes of sitting in the dark with no ac, five more minutes and we would've been sent home

My classroom is hotter than being outside! Its gross. I have a fan but that doesnt help at all. I cant wait to go home and pummp up the ac!! My students are all getting sick cause its so hot.
