How are you doing your nails for the wedding?

gel tips, natural, acrylics? I haven't decided yet but my nails are fairly weak.

you can get acrylics- but the new way is with UV gel

I had both- and took the acrylics off after 2 weeks- the gel looks natural

french mani and pedi on my own nails...they are long and strong so no need for fakes

What is a gel manicure? Is it just a gel that they brush on over your natural nail? No tips, no silk, no acryilic? Is there any powder involved?

I used to have silk wraps, for years, now my nails are natural but very short. Not sure how I want to go for the wedding....

if my nails are in good shape - i will just get them done. if not, i will get the gel acrylics. will do french (with pinkish toned base color) mani and pedi

they put gel- then you go under a UV light- it dries- repeat about a million times- then the add the white tip- more gel- more UV light

then shape and fill- you don't need nail polish b/c it's pink and white- no drying- just get up and go

if you have short nails- they can build the nail with gel- I don't have tips, wraps or acrylic-

I get them filled every 2 weeks

I can't get tips cause of work, so I was thinking just a regular french manicure.

i always have had strong natural nails so i was going to get a french manicure but i broke 3 nails really short this week and they wont grow out in time - i've never had acryllics or anything done before and i've only had two or three manicures in my life so i don't know what to do with them now??? I wanted my long nails and a pretty french manicure - what is the difference with the different types? whats a gel tip? what is a permanent french???

can anyone suggest a good place to go in Nassau (i live in Seaford) also i want something that will last a couple weeks that gel sounds pretty good, any other suggestions?

I get the forever french gels

if you don't mind going to Long beach I get mine donw at Georges- it's on west park- the main road across from the train

I think it was $60 to get them and $30 to fill them
