How are you going about

setting up the couples for the BP like who is going to walk with who down the isle when do you do this and how do you go about it? I mean I don't know who is goingto look good with who meaning height wise until I see them all together which won't be till the rehersal dinner is this bad. I try to picture it in my head and put people together but then I get all confused

In our bridal party I believe I'm doing it with couples as there are a few spouses. Otherwise just do it by height the night of the rehearsal, there's really no need to know before then.

For my wedding, the girls are walking the aisle solo -- the ushers will already be at the alter.

I'm not totally sure yet. But I try to envision it in my head who I want with who. Right now I have an uneven amount. I have more girls so I'm not sure if FI will be asking someone else.

Well I think that you ment on the way out - well I am send my girls out in the order of who they are coming back with - So my friend carolyn is going first cause she will be walking back with his brother Marcus which will be the last of the groomsmen - so carolyn goes to the last spot - then Jen she will be with his other brother - Matty -then my sister the MOH so she can walk back with Greg BM .....

SO out of the church/hall what ever-were getting married in the hall

it will be
US
MOH & BM
and everyone else -

Since its just his best Friend and brothers I did the brothers by age - and then just paired the girls by height -

I have 5 and 5 so the bm/moh
then the couples together and then all the others I am pairing by height....

My BM's will be walking down the aisle solo bc the groomsmen will be at the altar...On the way back I decided to keep family with family, also couples together & my one friend with FH's friends....We have to double up also bc we are uneven...

see thats the problem I have no couples I have his 5 brothers and my 2 brothers and his friend who is the Best man
then for the girls I have one of my FH sisters and 7 friends which non of them are coupled with the men os I have to do it by height I guess I dont' know jsut another thing to get stressed about

I would go by height if none are couples. I'm doing my sister and her bf, my cousin and his sister walking together, my other sister and BIL (they are not married..he is married to my MOH), MOH and BM (FH best friend). Then JBM walking with the RB, her brother.

In a catholic ceremony....the FH and the Best man are already at the alter...

The MOH walks down before the bride...and the rest is up to you.....

I'm going by height, but also by age. And I've been thinking about this pretty much since Day 1!!

I have not figured it out yet, but none of mine are couples and I am not really worry about it right now. I tried to figure it out awhile ago, even before we actually got engaged but gave up.

I was thinking that the girls will walk down solo and the guys will already be at the alter.
Besides that I haven't give it much thought but this thread is very helpful!

I like this idea. I may do this if my bridal party stays uneven.

I'm probably doing the same... I have a HUGE BP (12 BMs, yes 12) so I'm going to have the girls go down in pairs, and then the last 'couple' down will be my two MOHs.

On the way out, I'll most likely arrange them in height order. We do have some married couples, so of course they will be paired with spouses.
