How are you making your wedding UNIQUE?

Hi Girls!
I think I posted something like this before. but can't find it.. and want to know what other ideas everyone came up with!

I am thinking of doing hot pretzels and water bottles for guests when leaving.. has anyone seen this before or know of where I can get something like this?

What are you girls doing/thinking of doing?

basically, we're not doing anything because tradition says we HAVE to, but we're not NOT doing something because it's traditional either

i'm not wearing a veil, we're going to have 1 (maybe 2) of our friends do something musical, no floral cps, not sure what else... but we're just combing through every detail to make sure it's what we WANT and not what we feel we are forced to have

I don't really have much unique things for our reception. I guess our candy buffet is the most unique thing there; not many of our guests have been to weddings with one.

My MOH got married a few days ago and her hall provided a popcorn machine. They also had a hot dog stand with all the condiments but I'm not sure if anyone really ate them. It was an adult reception so I don't think adults would go crazy for the popcorn and hot dogs like children would.

um...im pretty traditional........

but maybe the Steel Drummer at cocktail hour?? it should be outside so i thought that would set the tone for our 'beachy' theme...

also, all of the DIY stuff im doing...almost everything will have my personal touches in it...that means alot to me!

but heres a unique idea ive been having.....not sure if i wanna actually look into doing it or not...

im NOT having shots at the reception (too many drunks) the only thing im having is at the end of the night, dessert time, we're having a cordial bar w/chocolate shot glasses...

so since were ending the night w/shots, i figure we could START the evening during CH with a summer favorite (to go in w/my beach/summer theme) JELLO SHOTS!

if this could be pulled off in a non trashy way, i really wanna do it! that could be our signature drink! now THATS unique!!!

I'm using peacock feathers in my wedding decor and bouquets and i think that gives it an edgy, unique feel. I am having the ceremony at the hall in their garden outside because I feel that god is everywhere and to get married close to nature is as close to god as I can get (imo) but both my sisters had their weddings in roman catholic churches so that makes my wedding unique in my family. My shoes are going to be my something blue. My ceremony music is going to be rock music covers done by a string quartet. My favors are going to be donations. My cake is going to be decorated with peacock feathers. I think thats it for me so far

oh also my ceremony will be in the evening lit by candlelight

Im pushing for a 2nd first dance. I want to change into a more comfortable dress to dance in and therefore I'm thinking of doing a more sultry dance in that dress. So 1st dance in my puffy ceremony dress and 2nd dance wearing my sexier dress.

FH is pushing back as he is not a big dancer, but i really think im ganna get my way on this.

Also my ceremony is going to have 3 floral arches giving it a garden feel.

I think thats it for now.

More to come lol
