How bad do you wish you could strangle your mother sometimes...

I love my mom but....I swear sometimes I sent her the picture of the dress Im buying for the wedding in Vegas(mind you only my mother and sister know about it)and she tells me it's not her taste she'd go with the other one, so I explain to her that I cant because it wont be delivered on time and Im not making a big fuss because it's for Vegas and it will be just me and FH so I just want to look nice. So she tells me she doesnt like it, she likes the other one better, soooooo again I explain to her I cant get the other one because of delivery date, so she tells me she doesnt like it so I tell her Im buying it anyway because I like and FH liked it sooooo she tells me fine get it but I think it looks very cheap Do you know I've looked at the dress a few times since and now Im having second thoughts but I already paid for it! then I tell her in a different phone call(mom lives in Fla.)that the venetian idea in Vegas is out because of but I looked into other things I liked. My mother tells me I should just scrap the whole silly Vegas thing and get married on a cruise Everything is paid for and a few months ago she thought it was a great idea. What is with this woman?
