How bad is this???

I am still not 100% sure about my dress... I keep finding myself second guessing if I really LOVE it or not....I am starting to feel like a psycho bride..

Anyway - Kleinfelds is having a sample sale on MLK jr day and I made an appointment.

Is that really bad???

My wedding is in April 06 and my original dress that I ordered from Kleinfelds is not even getting in until the last week of Feb... so I guess so???

No, not bad at all. I'm going through the same exact thing!!!! I keep seeing these dresses in the magazines and am like damn...I really like that, when I'm just okay about my dress. I was so excited at first, now I'm sorry I jumped at buying the first dress I saw. Don't get me wrong, I loved it at the time, but lately I have so many doubts, I'm not sure what to do myself. I find myself wanting to stop and look at some other dresses but I haven't yet, but i'm sure I will soon. I feel your pain hon. Good luck in whatever you decide and let us know what you decide to do. The only thing is I'm scared b/c my dad already paid for it. Don't know what to do either. Have you already paid for your dress or just a deposit?

OMG Tina, I was in the same boat and posted about this a while ago....I keep thinking about taking the money that I was going to put to pay off my dress this weekend on a new one....Arghhhhhhh

Are you going to do it? I remember your post. What did you decide????? It stinks to be in this situation...it really does. I would hate for my date to lose the money, I'm so torn.

I've been agonizing over it since the day my parents put the 50% deposit down back in June!!! My dress is now in, and I am tempted to ask if maybe we can use the deposit for a store credit so that my mother can use it for her dress, and maybe the balance I can get a new veil, tiara, etc.

I am going to check one last time tonight and tomorrow. If I really can't find anything, I'm just going to give up.

Yikes, but 60% is better than paying for 100%. I'm so kicking myself right now over that. I don't want to think about it, kinda in bridal dress denial. How long did you feel this way before making the appt? I was kinda hoping this feelign would go away, but it only seems to be getting stronger by the day.

The feeling comes and goes... My sister said for me to go and hopefully make me feel better... My FH thinks I am crazy! I also blurted out at Christmas that I hated my dress and my poor family looked like someone punched them all in the stomach...

Yeah, that would pretty much be my family's reaction if I changed my dress. Especially after my mother has been gushing to everyone about how gorgeous it is...

Maybe you can keep looking at the same bridal shop, and ask if they can apply the deposit to another dress??

Tina, I'm going to try on a dress in the same shade of red to be sure the color even looks good on me before I move forward.

What is it about the dress that is making you second guess it? Is it the style or the fit?
I don't think it is bad to keep looking, but you should try to figure out what is missing in the dress you have.

Too funny. We are living parallel lives. I blurted it out too, everyone looked at me like I had three heads. They thought I was kidding (I'm a big joker), and nobody took me seriously, they all shook it off as a joke. I wasn't kidding. Maybe we should all swap dresses :)

Seriously, I like yours better than mine. What was I thinking getting a pink dress...ugh..

I just keep seeing dresses that I like better.....

Kleinfelds will not exchange it for store credit... so I would just have to sell it if I find another one...
