time will fly..I have about 2 hrs
prob about an hour to an hour and a half
The church begins at 2:30 (we are having a mass) I figure everyone will get out of there at 4-ish and then the cocktail hour does not start until 7:30 (guests can arrive at 7:15). I think the break to take pictures will be nice because then we will have some down time.
Ours are back-to-back. The church services starts at 5:30, should last about a half-hour, and then the CH starts at 7. But we don't have a big BP, so the photographer said this would be plenty of time.
Church is at 4 and Cocktail Hour starts at 7:30pm. We can take pictures at Old Westbury Garden between 5:30 and 7pm so that gives us enough time to take a bunch of pictures at get back in time for the cocktail hour.
3 hours ------- our ceremony is at 3:30 and it should be short like 30 minutes, then the cocktail hour at 7:00
Mine is back to back. The ceremony is right there so after the ceremony the guests go to the CH while the bridal party goes to take so quick pictures.
our ceremony starts at 4 and is a full mass so we should be done with that by 5ish, then cocktails at 6:30, so probably about an hour. fh and i will probably miss some of the ch to take pics, but thats ok.
I wish mine was longer. It will probably be about an hour and a half
our ceremony starts at 3, we're not doing a full mass- so it should be done in 30-45 minutes....CH starts at 6:30- any of my OOT relatives that come to the church will be invited to stop back at my house for the 2 hours in between (since our RH is fairly close they can leave my house by 6).
Our ceromony is at 2:30 in East Islip and the Reception is at 7:30 at the Watermill. But if alot of people show up a little earlier they will just start the cocktail hour early.
Mine was 4 1/2 hours with a 45 minute drive from ceremony to reception. I think I sat down and relaxed for 10 minute total before getting in the limo to head to the reception.
Mine is about 3 1/2 hours..Which is great for Pictures...But I was wondering about my guest? Some don't live by the church nor the hall so there kinda stuck in limbo!! I don't know what to do?
No gap - having reception/tail hour at same place as ceremony. So my guests will be served champagne at the ceremony and then get real drinks immed after my 15 minute ceremony at the cocktail hour.
My church is at 3:30 and cocktail hour is at 6. But they're 30 min. from eachother so I have to make sure the bus driver has a heavy foot because I have to be at CH. I LOVE CHEESE!!!!!!!!!!
Not long at all. After the ceremony the CH starts right away..my ceremony, CH and reception is all in the same place
