how many hours is the gap between your ceremony and reception..my ceremony starts at 4 and my reception is not till 8.. i wish i could change it..but the day i picked is a holy day and they won't do an earlier mass..anyone else in my boat? this is annoying! my parents house is around the block from the church (which is cool) so you don't think the guests will mind right? this has been bothering me!

I have the opposite problem Kristen.
My church starts at 4:30 and Cocktail Hour starts at 7pm
I don't think we will have time to stop anywhere for pics. We might make a quick pit stop at the Garden City Gazebo for like 10 minutes other than that our church and RH will have to be good enough
I think you have a good amount of time. By the time you get out of the church it will be like 5-5:15. And then you need to figure travel time to your reception. You will have good time for pics

it will end that late even if im not having a mass? thats good..and the church from the rh is a 30 minute drive so actually this may work out fine! thanks!!!

I have the opposite problem. Our church is at 5 and CH is at 7. I am hoping we get to make at least part of the CH!

out church starts 10:30 (so prob end around 11:30ish). and CH is at 1:30pm. Since it takes about 30 minutes to get from church to RH we are prob taking pics before ceremony also.

my church is at 2:30 & reception is at 7 ... they had 4 for church but that wouldnt give us enough time 4 pics. what we're gonna do since our church & RH are like 30 miles away - we're going to have a little gettogether at a restaurant near the church for all the guests & have a bus drive them to the reception hall

Hey Kristen, Our ceremony is at 2 and the cocktail hour starts at 6. We have to drive from North to South, but we do take our pictures right on CW Post's campus. You will be fine. Don't stress
