How can I Cancel Priceline Hotel?

I pricelined 2 hotel rooms in NYC for Dec 1 - 3, 2006 and now won't be able to use them. I know the policy is no cancellations.

Just wanted to know if anyone had suggestions on what I can do?

It says it's non-transferable - so I assume that means I can't just get someone else to check into the room instead of me? Anyone have experience with this?

I would appreciate any advice on what options I have in recouping some if not all of my money.

Will you be in the area? Can you check in and give someone else the key and let them stay there?

That's also the only thing I could think of too. I wonder if that would work. Thanks for your tip.
