How can I include my late Grandmother into my wedding

Hi Ladies,

So like many of you im sure, My grandmother passed away recently and I wanted to do something special for her.

She was like a second mother to me and my gossip girl. I know she will be there watching me that day but I wanted to do something really special in her memory.

Any ideas???

Thanks<3<3<3

memorial candle
Poem in program

Sorry about your grandma. Just know she will be with you on your wedding day no matter what

This is a cake @ my pastors sons wedding. The cake had original wedding portraits of Tiffany's parents, Calvin's parents, and Calvin's grandparents. You could do something like this but include pictures of your grandmother and maybe some other special people in your life.

So sorry for your loss, I have the same exact relationship with my grandma, can't imagine losing her, cant imagine what your going through. I found this, maybe post a picture near it?

You could have a bouquet charm with her picture or a memorial candle for her. Do you have any jewelery from her? You could wear that the day of. My grandma bought me a sapphire bracelet for my Confirmation since she was supposed to be my sponsor, but she passed away a month before. So I'll be wearing the bracelet as my something blue.

My gma was like my 2nd mother and it makes me so sad that she won't be there with us. She will be there in spirit! I will have one of her handkerchiefs wrapped around my bouquet to symbolize that she's 'holding my hand' as I get married...

I was very close to my grandmother and though she passed away 20 years ago I still remember her clearly.

What I'm doing is printing a poem on the back of the church program and listing her name and my FH's father's name since he passed 10 years ago.

At the RH we are doing a memorial candle with a poem around it. Not sure if I want to put pics up of them because this is a celebration, but defintiely inclding flowers .

Those are my thoughts so far.

I might look through my grandmothers jewlery and see how i can' incorporate it into my day as well.

You could maybe light a candle during the ceremony in her honor.

You can do a donation in her name

You can add a portion to the ceremony where you honor those that could not be at your wedding.

you can also write in the problem
In Loving Memory of....

You can hang a locket picture of your grandmother to your bouquet.

those are some suggestions.

We have so many people who have died that we are doing something really special for them. We are including them in our program for our ceremony. At the RH we are having a memory table with their pictures and a poem in a frame. I got a memory candle and I am getting little votive candles with each of their names on one next to their pictures. I am puting rose petals around the table as well.
