How can I make ravioli's?

How can I make ravioli's?

I may have asked this same question about tortellini a few weeks ago.

I'm not a super-huge fan of tomato sauce.
(Or rich/heavy cream sauces for that matter.)

How else can I prepare them??
(Will cut up veggies go well, you think?)

How about a butter sauce? I mix 1/2 tomato sauce with 1/2 butter and put mozzarella cheese on top.

I think you can do mixed vegetables with some olive oil and a little bit of diced garlic. If the cheese is inside, you probably might not want it on top.

If they are the cheese ones ( or spinach, but probably not meat), you can use a light, oil based salad dressing ( like a vinagrette ) & cut up vegatbles. You can serve it cold or warm.

Mini ravioli or tortellini work well too.

Or you could do pesto if you like it.

And following that dinner I will be posting re: best diets.

ETA: I really do mix 1/4 cup butter with 1/4 cup sauce. I also melt 1/2 cup butter in microwave and add it to any microwave popcorn I eat for that movie theatre taste.

This sounds yummy too! My DH does not like cheese or chocolate so we don't eat ravioli or tortellini.

On a serious note - I would suggest a pesto sauce - very yummy!!!

If you get a chocolate fondue fountain everything can be chocolate covered! Or butter if you put butter in instead of chocolate.

i think there might be something wrong with his tastebuds.....he does't like chocolate or cheese - but he enjoys cardboad ice cream cones!

He's a weird one. He prefers cold chicken to chocolate ice cream! If he didn't have such great taste in women I would really think he was strange.

I sautee spinach, porcini mushrooms, shitaki mushrooms, red pepper, basil, oregeno and garlic add a nice white wine , salt and pepper to taste and simmer. Then add cooked pasta. Top with a little parmesan cheese. Yummy!!!
