How close is your bacholerette party to the date of your wedding? Do you think doing it the week before your wedding is a bad idea?

We're doing the week before since its the summer time and so many of the people coming have tons of things to do every weekend in July. We're getting married August 5th and my bachelorette party is July 30th.

I am two and a half weeks before my wedding, I think you should be fine. as long as it's not the day before.

My friends and I are going to Cabo for my bach party for 4 nights a month before the wedding. I think the week before may be a bit close only because, as a bride, you'll have so much on your plate, that you may be afraid the party time'll cut into your last minute planning.

My bachelorette party is August 27th, so a few days less than a month before the wedding. I wouldn't want it any closer

depends on what time of year the wedding is and what your actually doing...
FH has gone to bach parties that were 2 months before the wedding, becayse they went away and it was in the summer, and they are all teachers.
if your staying local and going out in the city it doesnt really matter, but if your planning a wknd trip I would do it at least a month out. This way its not so expensive on the BP

i'm going to vegas next weekend and i have an NYC bach party the following weekend. so about a month and a half before the wedding (i know i'm going to be feasting in vegas so i need time to lose weight afterwards. lol)

MIne is about 3 weeks before and it's 3 nights in vegas. I think it really depends on what you're planning tho. If I was doing something more laidback like a spa day or one night int he city, I'd be fine with doing it a week before the wedding even

Just over a month. Bach part is May 7th and the wedding is June 18th.
