How come

I was talking to my mom last night about how many people are on the guest list (in terms of who we have to pay for). So we started with the # of invites that were sent, then added on my parents, my brother (we all live in the same house, so I didn't send them invites) and FH and myself. Then I said, 'you know, we really shouldn't have to pay for me and FH. The bride and groom should be free.' She agreed with me. Don't you think that the bride and groom should be free at the catering hall. Do any of your halls do that?

I don't think any hall does that, I know mine doesn't. Sure, I'll agree that the B&G should be free. Or at least, if you have over a certain # of people they can throw your meals in for free.

Bride and Groom are still part of the final head count you give your hall. You would think catering halls would give the bride and groom complimentary meals after all the money that is spent, but they just don't do that.

I totally agree! If it wasn't for all these brides and grooms, they would not be getting all these parties and all this $$$.
