At the weight you are? and if you are not, what are you doing to change it. How do you control your cravings for eating junk. Do you exercise if so, how often.
Theresa and I were discussing how we have both gotten back into the gym seriously, b/c we hated how our legs have lost their definition, so this brings to mind to ask what are you ladies doing to keep your body in shape.
I have made and agreement with my gym buddy to attend the gym minimum 4 times a week, do 2 total body toning classes a week etc. We have also made an agreement to eat junk ie mcdonald's once a week. I feel everythin in moderation. I have never dieted in my life and I do not plan on starting now.
For everytime we miss the gym, if its not made up we have to pay $5 in the cup.
I am looking to tone up my legs, my arms and my midsection.

Re: HOW COMFORTABLE ARE YOU
I am getting more comfortable, I recently lost 28 lbs on weight watchers. I would like to lose maybe 5-10 more, but I really need to exercise and tone up.

Re: HOW COMFORTABLE ARE YOU
I'm very comfortable with my weight. I've been working out for about 14 years though. I do it not only to keep fit and healthy, but because it makes me feel good. When I don't work out for a few days I just don't feel right.
I do have periods where I'm not in the best shape I've ever been, like right now. I need to lose a little bit of pudge around my waist and rear, so I'm doing extra cardio and really watching what I eat.

Re: HOW COMFORTABLE ARE YOU
I would have to say that I KNOW..I need to tone up more...I try to go to the gym 3 times a week and do both cardio and weights...I just want to know if it matters what days of the week u work out...For instance I went last week only Mon Tues and Wed...so i feel bad that I didnt work out the rest..Is it better to skip a day in between??

Re: HOW COMFORTABLE ARE YOU
Before WW I was in deniel about my weight. I didnt believe I weighed as much as the scales showed. I would make excuses as to why the scale said that weight.
We got engaged and then that christmas I saw photo's of myself and I couldnt believe that was me. I was so upset. So my new years resolution was to loose the weight and be the weight I was when I first met FI. So January 4, Brian and I signed up for WW.
To date I have lost 20 pounds and I feel great. I still have to loose another 25 - 30 pounds and I will be very happy.
Right now to keep up the work I am doing WW, yoga, walking, eating a lot of fruit and drinking lots of water. I am really proud of myself for loosing 20 pounds and I feel if I can do this, I can do anything

Re: HOW COMFORTABLE ARE YOU
Anniegrl I know what you mean, people ask me how I can go to the gym every day, I tell them I enjoy it, I feel so positive and I am in such great spirits after. I do not do the same thing every day. I go to African Dance, I swim, I yoga, I do step, I try a little of everything. After Sept 11, going to the gym eased a lot of my worries.

Re: HOW COMFORTABLE ARE YOU
I am actually really happy with my weight and body frame. Dieting has never really been a concern of mine. I have always been active and therefore in shape. I do work at it though, I am not one of those skinny girls with the sick bodies that eat fatty foods on a daily basis. I run 30-40 miles a week, do weight training about 4-5 times a week and take yoga and pilates classes. I also enjoy working out. It gives me time to clear my head of all the days stress.
I do on occasion splurge and eat something not so great for me, but it isn't an everyday occurance and I think I work hard enough to be able to treat myself every now and then.

Kim I like your attitude, where do you work out. I noticed at my gym they got new Pilateds Machine, I can't wait to try it. How advanced are you in Yoga, I just got a new mat, how many days a week do you go to yoga are you realy flexible?? I am getting there.

Re: HOW COMFORTABLE ARE YOU
I am not totally thrilled with my weight right now, but I am on my way.... I recently started working out 5x a week and really bumping up the cardio to 50 min. each time and I do weight training with the cardio 3 out of those 5 days.... This is a huge change for me as I used to not work out at all.... I can not believe how much I have started to enjoy it!!!! I have also started eating better...I have noticed that that's where I see the biggest difference....when I partner my diet WITH the excecise.....
If I lose another 10 lbs (i have lost 5 already) I will be back where I was when I was 18!!! YIPPEEEE

Re: HOW COMFORTABLE ARE YOU
i am not happy with my overall physique. i am not overweight, but i defintely need to tone. when i was in high school i was so thin, but now i have curves, which i think is a good thing! but i am noticing that my pants dont fit as well as they used to. i joined curves a few weeks ago, so hopefully by next month i will see some defintion.

Re: HOW COMFORTABLE ARE YOU
I am not really comfortable about my weight, because I am not fitting into my clothes anymore, and I cant stand the way my stomach looks. I probably will only need to lose about 10-15 lbs, but I think changing the bad eating habits is what I need more than the weight loss. I do need to start exercising too, but I have been so tired lately that I cant get motivated. I am taking it slow, I have accepted that this is not going to happen overnight, and I just need to stick to it.

Re: HOW COMFORTABLE ARE YOU
I am almost comfortable with my weight, but not so much with the shape of my body. I always say I want my arms to be toner and flatten my tummy - but I really have NO energy for working out. I know there are a trillion little things I could do that would help, but honestly, I just don't enjoy it. I went on ww last October and to date I'm down about 10-15lbs (most of that was by around December and little by little I whittled some more off.) I really didn't excersise at all - it was basically just eating less. I'm just happy that I can mostly fit into my clothes from when I graduated college 8 years ago.

Re: HOW COMFORTABLE ARE YOU
I'm very comfortable with my weight - I'd love to tone what I have though!
I am usually very comfortable, but since I gaine dsome weight and I have a noticeable to me tummy I don't like it at all... DH used to comment how my stomach was concave...now when I lie down you can see the belly bubble out...I want it to be concave again...
since all of our eating events are finished for now...I am going to start eating better again (I always did...but 1-2 nights a week we would go a bit out of control) and I need to step up the cardio...

Re: HOW COMFORTABLE ARE YOU
I am much more comfortable now with my body than I ever was. I am thin, but carry my weight in the thigh - hip - butt area. I've been going to the gym and overall am much stronger and I see muscle. I've just come to the realization that I'll never have thin thighs ... I have to learn to live with it and that's all I can do. The perfect body will never be mine -- but I need to do good with what I have.

Re: HOW COMFORTABLE ARE YOU
I would like to lose another 10 pounds & become toned. I lost 50 pounds over the last 2 years. I found out I had a medical problem for the second time, and after that decided that I wanted to eat healthier & lose weight, which I did! Now, it's really hard to lose that 10 pounds, let me tell you!! I work out about 1 1/2 hours 5 days a week (exercise bike, rotating push ups, sit ups, resistance bands & 5 pound weights) and my arms are getting toned but the rest of me still needs some work!! I'm going to my nutritionist today and I get so nervous that I gained weight every time I go to her!
