How 'comfortable' are you with FH?

How 'comfortable' are you with FH?

Did anyone else go through the stage where you first met FH & were afraid to eat in front of him & always watching your weight? Then you finally get 'comfortable' & now you are a fat pig? LOL

Well to answer my own question I moved in with FH & gained 10lbs in that time.

Just curious to see everyone elses answers

I was never uncomfortable around him because for years, we were just friends and I never thought we'd end up together! Lol, just goes to show what a good judge I am!

I've always been so careful with what I eat just because I lost a ton of weight and am paranoid about gaining it back...FH understands that so he doesn't judge

I was never shy about eating around him and I'm definitely not eating only vegetables and salad around him. The problem for a while was that because I was so comfortable with him that I'd often eat as much as he did. I'm 5'2' and he's almost a foot taller than me. Let's just say I got super comfortable and was wearing sizes I never imagined. I am working to get rid of the all the comfort now.

Hah, definitely not! The first time I went to FH's apt a week after we first met I had FOUR slices of pizza! It was so good, I couldn't help it, hahah.

I am tooooo to to to comfortable with him. I have gained about 20 lbs in the past 2 years lol - not to mention the fact that I used to shave and straighten my hair every day and now my straightener has about an inch of dust on it hahahaha

OMG! Exactly this!!! I know my portion sizes and number of helpings has definitely increased because of living with FH. Now I've got to get rid of the comfort weight to get to my wedding weight!

When I met FH I was at my heaviest, so he's been really supportive of my diet and exercise routine, even though I flip out sometimes because I HATE having a bigger appetite then him (he is ridiculously thin with a high metabolism but not a big appetite, ugh). But we're going, sometimes I just get mad at him when he's like umm you shouldn't have that... but I get over it.

Ok this part is TMI so watch out...
... FH farts all the time, its gross and now that he's completely 'comfortable' with me, he doesn't feel the need to hide or hold it. I could never ever do that... a few weeks ago we were out and a small one came out and I started crying, no joke. He just started laughing hysterically... I was so embarrassed.

Sure for the first couple of dates, but we got comfortable quick! We both go through periods gaining/loosing 5-10lbs.

Awwww

Don't worry, I'm positive that FH doesn't think any less of you!!

When FH and I started dating, he was SKINNY. I mean, he's still skinny, but back then he was skin and bones. He's gained a good 20 lbs since we met. Anyway, I was at my high point which is about 8-10 lbs more than the weight I've been at for nearly all of my adult life. (Unfortunately I've managed to gain this same weight back over the past year ). But needless to say I felt fat in the beginning!! I don't think it actually affected my eating because I honestly love food and no guy is gonna change that.. nut over time I did start to feel better as FH started gaining weight and I started losing it.

Oh and the shaving.. in the beginning I would never let FH see leg hair but that changed pretty quickly cause we started dating in the fall and I get lazy in the winter

This is me!! We have lived together for a year, been together for three and a half years and I still run the water every time I go to the bathroom. I am super private and uncomfortable with a lot of things. FH does everything he can to allow me to feel comfortable, I think I am just naturally uptight. lol
As for food, I have always watched what I ate since I am only five foot.

He has always been surprised by how much I eat... sometimes I eat more than him! lol

I am never shy about food

I actually gained weight while dating him because we were going out all the time. Now that we're home more I can maintain because we cook all the time.

But we're very comfortable with each other. Sometimes a little TOO comfortable (like when he doesn't close the door to pee and I have to yell at him)

FH and I are too comfortable, i gained a little weight but he totally stopped going to the gym! He used to be so cut, sexy arms and shoulders and had that 'V' thing going in with his body - now its all gut..sexayyy!!

Yep! I gained 5 pounds in the second year we met.

But there are still certain things- I never let FH see me shaving. We were on vacation and he walked into the bathroom while i was taking a shower and i SCREAMED at him to go away until i was done shaving.
