Did anyone else go through the stage where you first met FH & were afraid to eat in front of him & always watching your weight? Then you finally get 'comfortable' & now you are a fat pig? LOL
Well to answer my own question I moved in with FH & gained 10lbs in that time.
Just curious to see everyone elses answers

Ok this part is TMI so watch out... ... FH farts all the time, its gross and now that he's completely 'comfortable' with me, he doesn't feel the need to hide or hold it. I could never ever do that... a few weeks ago we were out and a small one came out and I started crying, no joke. He just started laughing hysterically... I was so embarrassed.
This is me!! We have lived together for a year, been together for three and a half years and I still run the water every time I go to the bathroom. I am super private and uncomfortable with a lot of things. FH does everything he can to allow me to feel comfortable, I think I am just naturally uptight. lol As for food, I have always watched what I ate since I am only five foot.
I run the water too!! Ahhh hahaha

i think we were instantly comfortable with eachother. it happened so fast. i guess because we went from knowing eachother since we were about 9 years old...to re meeting at 22 years old and feeling like we knew eachother forever.
so eating, going to the bathroom, all all other things you only share with ppl who are totally comfortable with came fast.

Re: How 'comfortable' are you with FH?
I tried to play cute for the first few weeks, even though we knew each other for two years before we dated..... but 1. I am a foodie, 2 I have IBS... so a few weeks into our relationship he took me to Jamaica, my nerves were crazy during the stay...I was crazy happy. Well my IBS kicked in while we (my sister and neice and nephew were visiting from Jamaica in the hotel) were all eating breakfast, and I jetted back to our room .....FOR A LONG TIME
He actually came back and checked on me and was so concerned. I knew then he was the one...LOL and I was sure I could not front anymore!!!

It didn't take long to get comfortable with him. I think its because he never had a girlfriend before so I know I wouldn't be compared. Definitely gained 30lbs when I moved in with him.

No.. FH and i were friends first. Actually.. when we started dating I was (happily) getting skinny and on a super good diet/exercise plan. I was down a good 20-30 lbs from my worst weight EVER!
Yea, then we started dating and all he wanted to do was eat.... eat pasta and bread and walk 2 blocks to Wendys, then complain that my kids meal wasn't enough food! Ridic!
MEN! Ugh - he MADE ME FAT ON PURPOSE!!!
Now.. almost 10 years later.. he's trying to lose a good 30 - 40 lbs and I'm just trying to lose 10-15. (After struggling the last 5 years..)
