How cool, someone just ask where my invites were!!
Yes, I realize in some circles it’s considered ‘tacky’ to ask for invites, but for my tiny wedding where I’m not sure I’ll even get within 25ppl of my minimum ASKING for invite means a lot to me.
He’s such a sweetie. Two years ago I went to his wedding in South Jersey but not to the reception because I figured he wanted to keep that space for others. Now he knows I’m getting married and asked me during lunch “Hey, where’s my invite? You told me when and were but where’s the invite?”
I’m so happy. He wants to come to my wedding!! WHOOOHOO. He’s an ex-coworker. Another ex-coworker and I took him out to lunch because he got a new job.
I’m giddy. Somebody actually cares enough to come to my wedding. See, now this is why I like weddings. To be surrounded by folks how care about you and you want them to be there.
