okay so i sent out my A list invites about two weeks ago......started getting response one of the couples that cant come sent me an early wedding gift in a beautiful card....okay do i now send her a thank you card? i am not going to put the check in yet dont want to seem needy.....or should i.....wedding isnt for anothe 80 days...
what should i do?

I would deposit it now only because I hate when I write a check and the person doesn't deposit it for months... It screws me up when I balance my checkbook. I don't think they will look at you as needy because you deposited the check now. Afterall, it was a gift for you to use.

i would send a thank you now and also i think most ppl prefer if you cash a check soon after receiving...it stinks trying to balance your account and budget and pay bills and whatnot when you have checks floating around not cashed and you have no idea when theyll do it.
