why would I ever bf someone else's child?or have someone bf my own? I can understand milk donation (it helps some very, very ill babies) but I don't know if that meant that.

Co-sleeping is when the baby (or child) sleeps with you and DH in the 'family bed'.

You can also get a co-sleeper! We got one. It attaches to the side of your bed so they are not in the bed with you but right next to you
Michele right after my sister was born my mom had to have emergency gall bladder surgery. My aunt had had my cousn right after my sister so my aunt nursed my sister when my mom couldn't

Re: How 'crunchy' is your parenting style?
My SIL bf my other SIL's baby when she went away for one night. I guess if someone is exclusively bfding and they are okay with this, they don't bother to pump. I don't think I would do this, even for my sister, unless it was some sort of emergency situation. But I guess all women's bm is the same in nutrients unless you have HIV or some other disease that can be transmitted through bm, or if you are a heavy alcohol, or drug user, or are taking meds??
