I knew I wanted July and when I realized July 7th was a Saturday, that had to be it. I just love 07/07/07 plus the fact that we will be together 7 years in 2007.

Then narrowed it from there. And I wanted something when it wasn't too hot and wasn't with alot of birthdays/anniversaries..

I chose Aug. 4th 2007 because it gave me time to save $$$ and also I'm in nursing school and August is the only month I have off and I didn't want to postpone my honeymoon.

Nice. I originally wanted June..but then I figured too many things happen in june...graduations...summer is beginning..so I changed it to Aug...but then the BM had planned a vacation the first two week of Aug...so then I changed it to JUly..I didnt want the first week because of independence day so I settled with the next

My fh wanted our dating date of June ,27 but it is on a wednesday so we went with the Friday June 29th because we wanted a night time wedding but not as expensive as a Saturday wedding./

We originally wanted Sept 29th, 2007. That was the date of the first time FH told me he loved me. But when the church was booked, we decided to have it in May so we could go to the Carribbean on our honeymoon. My brother is also graduating with his master's that month, so we did the end of May so we could be there.

I wanted a nighttime wedding too..but my situation is a bit diferent. My wedding location is pretty far..so I didnt want everyone driving to and from the wedding location late at night...so I went for a sat after (3pm) and the wedding ends at 8:30pm

I tried that but considering we're having a 2.5 year engagement, those calculations wouldn't work anyway since my cycle keeps changing.
We wanted nice weather so Spring is my favorite season. May has too many graduations, mothers day and my mom's birthday so we picked closest to May but still in April.

Same here...I knew I wanted it in March or April. So I calculated when I was going to get it so I could plan it to not be that week or the week before (in case I hade any PMS bloating or breakouts) OR the week after so I wouldnt have it on the Honeymoon. The hall we loved had a date that worked and we were booked!

YA KNOW WHAT?? I WAS JUST THINKING ABOUT THAT THE OTHER DAY!!! MY DATE IS JUST RIGHT AFTER MY AUNT FLO, SO I HOPE IM GOOD!!! BUT YOU GOTTA KEEP THAT IN MIND TOOO.HOW MUCH WOULD THAT SUCK?????

For us it was about convenience for us and our guests. We wanted a Saturday night that wasn't around the holidays or particularly deep into the summer when the traffic towards LI on the weekends is a nightmare. The hall had a Sat night in early May available and that was it
