How did everyone ask their BMs to be in their wedding?

I've been thinking so much about how I want to ask them. I want to do something creative and cute without spending a ton.
Share your fun and creative ways you asked your girls, please!

I bought a wooden box from Michael's, painting it my colors, and then filling it with all things that are inspiring my wedding (paint color swatches, cake ideas, bachelorette party ideas, BM dress ideas, etc...). On the inside top part of the box, I am writing 'Will you be my bridesmaid?'

I designed a cute card on etsy with a bridesmaid poem and also gave them personalized wire hangers

I asked my MOH like 10 minutes after I got engaged over the phone.... but I 'officially' asked with a nice card & a MOH planner, I bought off of Etsy.

I told my MOH while we were out for our monthly dinner and I told the rest of my girls over the phone.

Pretty much everyone in our wedding is under the age of 13 (I have 5 younger Brothers and Sister, plus FH Nephew and a few of my little cousins)

But I'm only having 2 bridesmaids and they're my cousins/best friends so I have already asked or rather TOLD them over the phone they're in the wedding, but since I live in GA and they're back home in good ol' NY I'm sending flowers (the martini glass arrangment- too cute) to each of them with a card formally asking them

I told my MOH before I was even engaged but I want to formally ask her and the rest of my girls. I like the idea of a MOH planner though! Cute!

I actually just ordered rubber 'bridesmaids' bracelets from Etsy today. I just thought they were too cute to pass up! LOL

THIS! I was just like 'you're my MOH right?' I later went out to dinner with my girls & gave them a frame reserved for the wedding, a candle, and a card.

I asked them all individually wherever I could- my driveway, BB&B, a tattoo parlor, lol....
After they all said yes I had a night for the girls at my house and gave them each a monogrammed bag that had a cute sassy BM handbook in it, a laminated sheet of everyone in BP's info, personalized framed poems, a personalized card about why I love them and a shot glass engraved 'Thanks for taking a SHOT at being my BRIDESMAID' I explained my visions and basic plans,. It was one of the best nights of my life!

I asked with a specially made card from etsy and a champagne flute that is personalized with their name and either bridesmaid or maid of honor.

Edited: pics in album if interested

I already asked my BP as soon as I got engaged but I recently ordered BM cards on Etsy with personalized poems but instead of asking will you be my bridesmaid, I put, I'm so glad you're my bridesmaid!
I will also get cookies for all of them in the shape of BM dresses & one for me with a wedding dress. I am planning a G2G with all of them. I also order a 'something blue' card that I will give to my FH's cousin who is not in the BP. I will give her a blue pendant necklace to wear on my wedding day & be my good luck charm (as she always brought FH luck)!

I want to get my girls personalized hangers and hair pieces but think it is too early to give them (my wedding is next July) as I'm afraid they will loose or mess up the hair pieces!

I had these made up for each girl. The vendor uses one of them on her site now! http://www.etsy.com/listing/102813284/will-you-be-my-bridesmaid-or-maidmatron
I attached the earrings I want them to wear at the wedding to the box with ribbon. I haven't given them all out yet, but so far they have been a hit. She even made ones for my two RB.

This is exactly how I envisioned doing it! I was going to ask them all on the same night though. I def. don't want to do that anymore though. I like your way. It gives you personal time with each girl and then when all is said and done, you celebrate together! Thanks so much for sharing!

ETA: I think I will give them the bracelets when I ask them and then have something special and personalized for each of them when I have a GTG.

We are having only our siblings in the bridal party so I ordered personalized shot glasses for each of them from Etsy. The girls' shot glasses had a dresses in the color of the BM dresses I'm thinking of choosing with their title on the back of each one. The men had a tux in the front and their title on the back. We haven't asked them yet as we are waiting for the right moment but we wanted to ask everyone if they would 'take a shot at being in our bridal party'. Hopefully they will realize their titles are written on their shot glass.

I orginally just asked them all in person as soon as I got engaged lol but I had a bp g2g and wanted to do something cute for them. So I got them personalized cards made from Rae of Art Designs and cookies made from the Sugar Chic. My girls loved it. Pix in my bp g2g album.

Re: How did everyone ask their BMs to be in their wedding?

So I finally did it! I started with my MOH because she lives and works in Jersey 5-6 days a week and sometimes I can go a few weeks without seeing her..I couldn't wait any longer. I printed big 'Will you be my MOH/Bridesmaid' cards, took a photo of me holding the signing with each BMs name and texted it to them. It ended up being really cute and they all loved it! I'm going to give them all a little something when I see them too. Here was the one for my MOH
