How did everyone do with their Christmas/holiday bonus from work?
Original post by girlygrl33
I was speechless, my boss gave me over a thousand dollars in cash AND and engagement gift, these beautiful crystal candle holders from bloomies. I was sooo shocked last year I got 350 bucks and the year before 250 , he really surprised me this year. How did you guys do and what did you get?

I got a turkey. I work at a large hospital so I guess it's unreasonable for them to give everyone a cash bonus.

If you make over a certain amount at my company... you are put in the 'management bonus pool' which is based on company profit... and you don't get your bonus till March 31st.
I make over their number... so I am part of the management pool. Last year I got a grand which isn't too bad considering I work for a family owned company.
After taxes it came to about $550... but this year I think I am going to tell them not to withold on my bonus check so I get close to the full amount.

Wow, some of you have some really nice bonuses. I'm jealous. I work in healthcare we never get squat. Their bonus is our yearly uniform allowance.

I work for a university, no bonuses for us.
But, I did receive some nice gifts, and $120 from faculty.
