How did everyone do with their Christmas/holiday bonus from work?

I was speechless, my boss gave me over a thousand dollars in cash AND and engagement gift, these beautiful crystal candle holders from bloomies. I was sooo shocked last year I got 350 bucks and the year before 250 , he really surprised me this year. How did you guys do and what did you get?

nothing...that's what ya get for working at a *big* company. The more money they have, the cheaper they get...

That sounds AWESOME! What a great surprise!

FH did pretty well with his bonus, very well considering it's his first year, but all of the $$ we get after taxes is going toward our 2nd deposit for our hall which is due in january Oh well!

we dotn get bonuses- thats what stinks about being a teacher. i did get a $100 cash fromt hw class plus many kids came in with their own gifts for me!

i wish i got a bonus. we have offices all over the world. if they gave us a bonus, they would have to give it to everyone. but they gave us a nice holiday party.

no bonus for me.....but i did get 2 boxes of godiva truffles....and a bunch of gift cards....mmmmmmm

No bonuses for me either but me students gave me sooooooooooo many presents I need PEOPLE to help me carry them all out. The baby got gift too Two former students came back (one is a senior and still remembers me) and brought me gifts for the baby. I was crying I was sooooooo touched!!!!!!!!

no bunus here although i did get some sort of bonus each quarter but i think its like 500 bucks

my kids were really generous. i got a burberry scarf, a ralph lauren scarf, and two other scarves (they know i like scarves), candles, a jewelry box made of mother of pearl and the class got me a g/c for about 250$

Bonus? what is a bonus? my boss is not that generous to that to us. they are cheap.

My company decided to do a monthly bonus system this year - if we take in over $XXX amout of dollars for the entire month, the employees (bosses included) share the overage.

We got this monthly bonus about 5 times this year (I'm not complaining, every single one was over $200, and I'm only a part timer!), so our bosses made it very clear that the monthly system was REPLACING the holiday bonus system. They threw us a cute little party in the office last friday.

Well I get into work today, and there's a package in everyone's 'mailbox' -
they gave us a holiday bonus!!! and a big one, the equvalent of 1 weeks pay!!!

I was shocked, but very very very happy to have another week's pay to put towards wedding stuff. I NEVER expected this!
