I think I did a web search for long island weddings. Since then I have gotten one other friend on here .. dsilvers I think she uses, and another friend is lurking here till she gets her ring... It is SO addicting, and so useful.

I found it while searching for reception sites too! That was my first step I'm so glad I did!! It has been such a big help and I try to add back too to help other brides...

The girl I work with told me about it - she was on it constantly and I used to say 'don't you ever get off that board?' and now here I am!!!!!
She is married now, and now she says it to me!!!

My most-recently-married girlfriend found her florist, dj and photographer because of this site and told me about it... and now, just because I can't go more than a day or two without checking the boards, she says she created a monster!

I am not sure who you think is the 'phoney', but does it really matter? If they are adding input here, whether they are a bride to be with an upcoming wedding date or not, who cares??

Ive been on this board for almost 2 years...and tell you the truth I do not remember how I got hooked. I bet I did a search and found it that way. Anyhow I REALLY glad that I did. The girls on here are great and I couldnt have planned my wedding without the help from here!
