I feel like I am always posting on this topic, but my puppy bites so much and is so crazy sometimes that i feel like i have to give her up. How did everyone else feel when their puppy was like this? I plan on taking her to some sort of training class but that doesnt start for a few weeks. Am I the only one that feels as if i cant handle the craziness and am i horrible to feel like i want to give her up? I love her, dont get me wrong, but this needs to be corrected. Im upset almost every night because of it. Please tell me they get better. and how many months do i have to wait until she calms down.

Our dog did a lot of nibbling when she was little, and it was bad because their puppy teeth are like little razor blades! Honestly it all but stopped when she lost her baby teeth and got her adult teeth, whcih was around 5 months old! now she even the way she plays with her own toys is different. She used to attack them like she was trying to tear them apart, now she loves to throw them around and chase after them.
Also our puppy only bit DH. He was her playmate so she felt okay doing it to him. But she has only nibbled me maybe 2x since we got her. I personally think the biggest thing you have to do is be firm and consistant. When she starts getting out of hand, I hold her nose closed (not too tight that she cant breath) and tell her no and then when I let her go, I walk away from her. She hates losing our attention.

It will get better. I promise. It's a tough few months but it stops soon. Hang in there! I just went through this w/ my puppy.

I swear there was a point where I was crying cause he bit so much. Then it stopped.

Did you do anything special to him like take him to training or you just winged it.

our dog was nipping sooo much!! we used tons on chew toys.. those ropes really helped alot!!!!! and ther is also these bones from the supermarkets called Uncle Louie's or Chwie Louies they really ehlped but if she still felt the nedd to bityon us.. we would spray our arms weith bitter apple or a tiny squrt in her mouth, just once and they will know when they see that bottle they will stop...
but it is just teething and it will pass...
the bitter also helps on everything in your house.... you can spry it on anything!!! and they wont bit again buecuase they dont like the taste
