how did everyone meet FH?

Honestly...just like someone else said they do, I say 'at a bar', which is sorta the truth But really we met on Match.com...and then met in person at a bar.

I was always embarrased at saying we met through online dating back then (4 years ago) but honestly now a days that is how most people meet. I was always skeptical at the idea...seeing how there are so many crazy people out there...but this worked out perfectly.

It was fate that we met and we have been going strong ever since.

Chris and I met in January 2006 at Mulcahys in Wantaugh, Long Island. I was there for Happy Hour with all of my friends. I saw Chris and his two friends, Chris F and Steve standing by the bar so I went up to them and asked them if they wanted to take a picture with me. We took the picture and I went back to my friends.

The next day while I was uploading the pictures to my MySpace profile I decided to browse guys in the area. Well to my surprise I found Chris' profile. So I sent him the picture that we took the previous night. He had asked me to hang out but I was seeing someone else and told him we could be friends.

A month later I broke it off with the guy I was seeing and changed my profile status to single. Chris must have noticed the status change so he messaged me and asked me to hang out. I thought, what the hell, why not. So we made plans for that night [Thursday] but my friend broke up with her boyfriend and was sad so I canceled on Chris and we made plans for that Sunday.

The next night was Friday and I was back at Muls for Happy Hour when I ran into Chris there. We talked for a little while and then he left. The next morning he called me and asked if I wanted to hang out, so I invited him over and we went and got our oil changed together [I know, hot first date lol].

The Sunday came and he picked me up and we went shopping and out to eat. After dinner we went back to his apartment and and watched movies. We spent 12 hours together that day and have been together ever since.

i met mine through my best friend (who was his cousin). I was in my senior year and i just broke up w/ my bfd rigth before my prom...n i didnt want to go to the prom anymore..so my friend told me that she has a cousin, she called him up..he said he'll go..i met him....and two days after the prom we were going out!!!!!!!! ...i fell in love w him..right away!!!!!

FH and I met at my friend's birthday party in her backyard in 9th grade. Two of my friends at the time and I all liked him. It was a long saga after that. He dated my best friend (who I am not friends with anymore for reasons having nothing to do with FH) and they broke up. He and I became best friends and he was the best friend I ever had. I was pretty much in love with him but he was scared to ruin the friendship. Finally, I started dating someone else and in the beginning of senior year of h.s., he realized he did not like me being with someone else and finally asked me out. The rest is history.

Actually... I was walking home from the park with a friend and he pulled up next to us because he knew the friend i was with.... they had been friends for years and i had never met him !! He had just bought a new car and was showing it off and asked if we wanted a ride home.. we hopped in the car and i hung out with him the rest of the day... i actually sat in his car for about 4 hours ... that was over 3 years ago !!

so i guess he is right... he did pick me up off the street !!
