On a bike tour in Paris! We were having a picnic on the grand canal in Versailles and he popped the question...it was amazing :) and we will NEVER forget any detail about it!!!

I had a TERRIBLE day at work and he wanted to go for a walk and I snapped at him and told him to take me home because all I wanted to do was eat So he said since I was so stressed he would run me a bath. He made me a bubble bath, put on candles and some music and let me soak for a few minutes. Then he came back in and I said 'you are the best boyfriend ever'. And he said 'can I be the best fiance ever?' and pulled out the ring. Apparently all I said for 5 minutes was 'Are you F-ing kidding me?'

Christmas day. It was out first christmas together after we moved to Ma. (we moved up Mar.2009) So I'm already crying because I'm missing my family and friends, and I'm opening his gift and its a wrapped shoebox full of wrapping paper I look up and I'm like wrap....and he had the ring and asked me to marry him. It was soooo cute, he's teary, Im crying, he's shaking Im saying yest the dog is jumping all over us lol. it was cute

Wishes fireworks show at Magic Kingdom!
Disney is my faaave place ever. We have friends in orlando. So we went for a visit and brought FHs 12yo cousin. It was August and like a thousand degrees haha. Our plan was to start at Magic Kingdom, do the other parks then back to magic kindom at night to see Wishes since I've never seen it before. And his friends were meeting us there at night with their baby.
Well in the afternoon I was sooo tired and cranky from the heat and wanted to go back to our friends house. His excuse was, well that's not fair to Joslyn, she wants to see the parks, were here for her. I'm like fine, ill **** it up.
So its night time, we finally met up with our friens and the baby, and were watching the fireworks show at the castle and its amazing btw. His friend was videotaping the show and I thought it was for his baby. He's acting so weird, like standing behind me wispering 'what's ur wish?' I'm thinking geez the heat got to him. Then he turned me around and was on one knee and said 'will u make my wish come true and be my wife?' With my gorgeous ring in a box with a light in it!!! In front of hundreds of people!
Then to top it off, his friend put an ipod up to my ear withthe song 'let's get married' (the slow version) by jagged edge. When we first started dating I told him, when u propose, I want this song playing in the backround, as a joke. 4 yrs later he remembered!
It was the most amazing night of my life!

FH went big - REALLY big!! Made my life long dream come true!!!
It happened at Yankee Stadium during a Red Sox vs. Yankee game so we had over 40,000 people there to witness it and cheer us on!!!!!
I was TOTALLY shocked - actually thought I was gonna throw up!! And we have it all on video!!!!
PS - yes, he was about to put the ring on the wrong finger.
PPS - added bonus, my dad had a 'feeling' and ended up getting tickets last minute to the game. So my mom and dad were both there to see it!
PPPS - Yankees won 3-0

The morning of my FH went fishing and I was going to go with him but he was going so early so I decided not to. I just laid out in the backyard all day and relaxed! This was the day after the Fourth of July so it was a gorgeous day!! He came home and sat out in the sun with me for a few hrs and then we went out to eat. We went to Outback and he seemed really nervous the whole time. He kept asking me what i wanted to do after since it was sooo nice out. He wanted to go for a walk over by town hall park in lindenhurst - there is a pond there and a waterfall. This was the first place we hungout and talked the night we met. Me being stubborn I said no lets go walk by the beach.. So we drove over the bridge and realized Robert Moses was closed so we had to take a detour- We wound up going to Captree and he was getting mad bc there is no beach there. So we finally went to Overlook and went down by the water. This place was special to me bc as a kid my parents and I use to take a net and find fish over there. We sat down together in the sand just taking in the beautiful view and talking about how the summer was so great and about our relationship. A seagull was sitting there staring at us so we were laughing bc it was just staring for a long time - so my FH jokingly says the seagull knows its a special day.. At that point i had no clue what was going on. We were laughing bc it took us forever to get to the Beach and we had a small spot of sand to sit on since the beach was eroded and there was a ton of seaweed. He was sitting behind me and told me how he was having so much fun with me and how much we have been through the years. Then he asked me if I thought we would be together forever not knowing where he was going with this.. Didn't realize he was being serious so i said I hope so.. So he says I think we will be together forever- he reached into his pocket and now since he is behind me i had no clue - then it hit me. He gave me the ring box and said WILL YOU MARRY ME? I was like OMG is this real is this really happening- just starting at the ring - I was in shock!! So of course i said yes and we sat there for awhile and i was soo excited to tell my parents bc they just got back from vacation!! It was a beautiful moment that will forever be in my memory!!!

FH and I always go away in January. This past January we went to Poconos Palace in PA. We stayed in the best room which was huge! (it had a pool, jacuzzi, sauna, HD TV, surround sound, fireplace and it was 2 floors!) any way, the first night we were there, we lit a fire and right after that, he got down on one knee and asked I would spend the rest of my life with him...I cried and said of course!!

In February last year FH started saying that we should take a trip together in April, during his spring break from school. I was like uh, thanks for not letting me know ahead of time! (I work in a hospital and we have to request vacations waaaay in advance)
I was able to switch with some coworkers and get six days off. We went to Toronto first, then were planning to visit Niagara Falls. He brought the ring everywhere with him, trying to find a good spot! Our last day in Toronto we planned to see a tour of the Rogers stadium but we were 2 minutes too late, so we walked out to the dock by Lake Ontario. It was the first clear day since we'd gotten there, it had been snowing before. It was beautiful outside!
I sat down and he was going through his bag. He said 'I have something for you.' I was hungry so my first thought was 'oh, a granola bar.' Instead I saw a white box and then he got down on one knee and proposed with this big smile and his face! I was like 'no way! are you serious?!' over and over lol. Then I said yes.

FH and I got engaged on Easter last year. We were in Maryland with my family and he'd never had an Easter egg hunt before, so we did one.
We were drinking the night before and I got really upset and started crying because I thought we were never going to get engaged. I knew he had the ring (for months...) and every time I asked him, he made up an excuse for why he was putting it off. Turns out, he wanted me to leave it alone for enough time that he could surprise me.
I went through his luggage earlier that day too, but there was no ring there. He hid it in a pillbox in his guitar!
Easter Sunday we found all the eggs but one. I almost gave up, but I wound up finding it. (My siblings knew where it was.) I opened it up and there was a ring (the cradle that goes with the ering) and a bunch of Easter grass. My dad is a smart a$$ so I thought it was my mom's. I went to hand it to her and she was teary, so I turned around and FH was on one knee. I was laughing and saying 'are you serious' the entire time. Then I hit him for letting me cry like a maniac the night before!!! It was probably the only way he could've caught me off guard!

DH and I were 'celebrating our anniversary' - or at least, that is what I thought we were doing. In the morning we went to brunch at a friend's house and hung out there until the early evening. We then left to go to Top of the Rock for sunset, because I'd never been there before and we said we wanted to do something special for our anniversary. After that, we sort of recreated one of our first dates - the one where we realized we were nuts about each other and in love and crazy. We went out to Brooklyn Heights to eat at the restaurant we ate at that night ... and then DH took me to the Promenade. The Promenade is an overlook over the BQE that shows a sick view of lower Manhattan. It is 'our place,' we have always gone there and it's where we fell in love. I had always hoped that DH would propose to me there.
The whole day DH was saying lovely things to me, which I had assumed were just because we were celebrating our anniversary. As it turned out, it was a daylong proposal. DH asked me what I would say if he asked me to marry him 'right now.' I told him it didn't matter because he WASN'T asking me 'right now.' When I turned to him, he was holding the ring out to me, and he grinned and said 'Will ya?'

It was our 3 year anniversary and we went to Paris to celebrate. He proposed in a park, down on one knee - it was beautiful.

I am a huge Elvis fan. So my Fiance, who never had flown before and was afraid to fly, planned a trip to Graceland. We flew there on November 7th 2008 and we stayed at the Heartbreak hotel in the Graceland suite and the next day on November 8th 2008, during the tour of the mansion he asked me to marry him in front of Elvis and Priscilla's wedding attire. He's AMAZING!!

I am a huge Elvis fan. So my Fiance, who never had flown before and was afraid to fly, planned a trip to Graceland. We flew there on November 7th 2008 and we stayed at the Heartbreak hotel in the Graceland suite and the next day on November 8th 2008, during the tour of the mansion he asked me to marry him in front of Elvis and Priscilla's wedding attire. He's AMAZING!!
