How did October girls do on your final headcount?
We had a 150 minimum but our final headcount came to 142. If we count the band and photographer we make our numbers. I am glad we weren't too off by the numbers though. We are working on placecards now and and seating. How is everyone doing with that?

Re: How did October girls do on your final headcount?
We invited just under 130Had 100 per min but didn't think we would make it
We have 117 (including us) coming
With vendors - thats several thousand over our original budget but whatever - Im happpy more people can make it.
Did my final seating arrangement last night. I had to renumber the tables to make logical sense of the ordering (so people can find their tables) - I hope no one is offended by sitting at table 9 or something.

Re: How did October girls do on your final headcount?
We have a minimum of 100, which we knew we'd make - we have 118 attending, including us.I still need to tweak the seating arrangement, but I'm almost done
Since we're naming our tables, we will avoid any bad feelings about sitting at a high-numbered table! LOL

We are still waiting for some non-responders, but we are way over our minimum of 200.... somewhere around 235 right now.

Invited 153 and 129 are coming...FH called 2 non responders last night but everyone else has responded, surprisingly! Have to work on place cards tomorrow, prepping my hand to write them out!

Re: How did October girls do on your final headcount?
we invited 240 to a place that only holds 200! There were about 20 that we were sure wouldn't come....we were so lucky, 196 are coming, just right! But it was very stressful hoping we would get enough 'no's'!

Re: How did October girls do on your final headcount?
mine were due today-still missing about 20, including my Fi's as*****e sister, niece & nephew.( i'm going to count tomorrow-I'm sick of thinking about it!) We are under our room minimum-but I didn't add vendors yet. I'm working on my very complicated seating-I'm doing table names & numbers so it will be easier.
Has anyone used the place cards that fit in the computer?

Re: How did October girls do on your final headcount?
vendors are usually 1/2 price, but you can use toward the count for full if you're short-aren't we lucky

I love the idea of naming the tables-has anyone else decided to do this? How are you coming up with the names?

Re: How did October girls do on your final headcount?
Our minimum was 230, looks as though we will have about 237. Not including vendors....we invited 310, but a lot were from out of the country, i'm so thankful that our # is lower than we planned!!

Re: Seems like just yesterday...
we named out tables different dance names: Waltz, Swing, Tango, etc. It was a struggle to come up with 19 different dances we liked, but it all worked out (and we danced the night away
)

Re: Seems like just yesterday...
We are still waiting for just a few responses (the nerve of some people...our final count is due on Saturday!!) but right now it looks like we will have about 130 people...not including vendors. Our min was 80, that was no problem but we were worried about our max of 160 for awhile. I couldn't believe how many out of towners are able to make it

Re: Seems like just yesterday...
Our minimum was 110, we got 103 coming so we had to pay full price for our vendors & two children coming.
I was excited when we sent out the invites, little did I know it would turn into the most stressful part of planning the wedding. Our final response date was Sept. 2nd, we recieved a response yesterday (Sept. 23rd) HELLO!!!!
People can be just so inconsiderate!!!! And not to mention cheap, we had FAMILY send us a 'no' response either send us nothing to one family member who's loaded, sent us $25!!!!!!!!!!
Meanwhile when they got married we sent them really nice gifts!!!

Re: Seems like just yesterday...
I got some no responses from family and not even an explanation! If I can't attend a wedding, I always write a little note saying how sorry I am but unfortunately I cannot attend for whatever reason.
I don't know...this just seems rude to me. They probably don't mean to be rude...but for the bride that is waiting by her mailbox everyday for a response...it's depressing!

Re: Seems like just yesterday...
Evelyn & MRS2- I feel the same way!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I just had my calligrapher send me my complete list since we added on later & I'm missing about 25 response cards!!!!!!!!!!! That's fifty friggin people!!!!!!!!!!! I two only received gifts from a few family no's & got a few w/ no explaination.
I gave my Mother a list of loser relatives to call last night. I have some I won't even bother to call, not worth my time. All in all the people that mean the most to us will be there & that's all I care about!
I'll still run to the mailbox today though
