Ok, so I have been sticking to weight watchers and went to the gym 4 days last week and i used my bonus points on Saturday and 5 yesterday...but I've been drinking so much water and eating veggies, AND i cut out caffine...
so how did i gain back the weight i lost and then added 1 lb to that? im getting my period on Wednesday, could that have something to do with it? or is that just a myth to make me feel better?

Re: How did THAT happen?
you do retain extra water leading up to that time of the month. stay focused, and i bet you'll drop a bunch next week. water comes off in a flash.

PMS'ing def throws you off a bit. Just don't give in to any cravings you'll have. Keep being consistent with your workouts and healthy eating and you'll start seeing the weight drop off.

it sounds like water weight plus you might be building up muscle which will add a few pounds but take inches off instead. Keep working at it and it will pay off.

Re: How did THAT happen?
Its probably because you are working out so you are retaining fluid in your muscles, dont worry... you will lose it all next week

Re: How did THAT happen?
you really shouldnt messure the amount of weight you lost but you should measure the amount of inches! If youhavebeen working out then you most likely gained muscle...which weights more then fat...so you can be losing fat /inces ( getting smaller) while gaining or staying the same weight! so youbetter off going by how your clothes fit rather then how much you wieght!

if you're pairing weight training with cardio, you could be gaining muscle, which weighs more than fat... so often times if you lose the fat but gain muscle mass, you actually GAIN weight.
also, if youre retaining water take a B-12 pill... that will flush you out and eliminate cramps at the same time (at least that's what ive found).
definitely go by inches and not pounds because even though muscle weighs more, its toned...so if you lost fat but gained muscle, you'll still lose inches.
when my doctor took my weight the last time, she was in shock. I'm a big girl, but she didnt think i could possibly weigh as much as i did because my size is just not equivalent to the poundage... but she forgot that i played softball for 11 years, and i still have a lot of muscle to me... she explained this all to me when this happened. lol
