(I know I ask a lot about colors, I just don't know what to do....)

I don't know, because I did not pick my color scheme yet either. Right now I spend a lot of time looking on websites such as liw, the knot, wedding channel, modern bride, and I look at pictures to get ideas. I save all the ones I really like. I think I will make a decision this way since it is hard for me to picture the way things would look in my head.

I wanted a whole autumn theme, colors and all. For my BM dress colors I originally wanted champagne colored dresses but the color looked awful on my MOH. I contemplated that deep red that alot of girls are using but I had more of a rustic autumn image in my head so I decided on a chocolate brown....actually it's called Espresso. I bought them cream colored wraps to wear if it's chilly. My flowers will be oranges, yellows, reds. Not sure about linens yet, I haven't gotten that far yet but those will probably be cream because the centerpieces will have alot of color.

Me and my FI are wine freaks. So i went with it. I wanted Merlot dresses (ended up with burgundy..close enough), getting wine/winestoppers favors.

the girls liked a navy dress and navy is a good neutral color and i could choose any flower with it. i was undecided about flower colors at the time. then saw a bo-k with bluebird roses and fell in love. those are a deep lavendar. so it's lavendar and navy and accents of pink and either white or ivory.

I'm also going to try & do the fall thing. If you have a theme, the colors can coem from that. If not, don't try too hard. I was a BM in a wedding where the bride jsut happen to see a dress she liked, and I think it only camein a few colors, so she picked celadon & went from there, and picked ivory & purple flowers.
or you could just have an all white theme if you can't decide. . .

i always wanted a navy/winter themed wedding...but when we set the date for 10/24 i thought: 'hey, i'll do a whole fall theme instead'...then when i was looking for dresses for my girls, i fell in love with a purple one...and now i'm doing a royal/purple theme!
I picked garnet, because it was right around Valentines Day tht I am getting married and because it is a deep color that I associate with winter. My MOH is in Navy Blue and I chose that because it went well with the garnet and it is also a deep rich wintery color.
Actually, I had picked my colors and all and after choosing dresses, my mother told me that the colors I chose are the same colors her BM's were in at her wedding 30 years ago. I had seen those pictures of her wedding millions of times and didn't realize it until she said it. I love my mom, we are so alike and have such great taste.

My entire wedding was based off a rose that Jim gave me while we were dating.
These are bit orangie in the photo. But they are actually Yellow with red tips.
At first I was going to use it with a fall theme. Now we've decided to go with an asian inspired theme of reds and golds.
My colors are extremely Spring-y. I knew I wanted some shade of pink for the girls' dresses (went with Sorbet, a medium pink), and definitely some pink in the bouquets. All of my flowers will be pink, lavender, and ivory....
And now that I just read that post about non- white/ivory FG dresses, I might go with pink for them too

I'm struggling with this too...my BM's are wearing black because I wanted them to buy a dress that they would wear again.
But for the color scheme for the programs, flowers, etc. I really like a french blue, or a light but not sky blue. But then I think an orange-ish would be nice for the season (fall). I can't decide.

My sis (MOH) wanted to wear yellow and carry sunflowers. My best friend (BM) loves sunflowers. I wanted a fall'ish color theme. When we went to look at dresses, I bought each of them a sunflower to see how it would look with the different colored dresses. They tried on a dress in red and we knew that those were the dresses and the color scheme was set.

I love blue, so I picked the color when i saw the dress in a magazine, and i thought it was the perfect color blue, sky blue. Then since i was doing yellow roses with it, I decdied to do yellow and blue.

My wedding dress has lavander embroidered roses on it. So My girls will be wearing lavander, to compliment my dress.
My flower colors are going to be lavander, hot pink, and white. Maybe some dark purple in the MOH.
I love the hot pink, I'm having trouble with color scheme also, I know I want something vibrant and colorful since I'm having a summer weddidng, I love jewel colors rather than pastel, any other flower and/or bridesmaid dresses in summery bright colors. please post more pictures.
