How did you...

How did you...

keep track of RSVPs? Our invite list is NOT an excel spreadsheet so I was thinking of making a new spreadsheet with headings 'name' 'RSVP 'number attending' and then in addition to that just check off on my master list who we have heard from...does that make sense?

i printed out what i sent to 'Her' made lines on it, like made my own excel page. one line had the number on the card, next like was names and then yes no and the number coming.

as i got them i highlighted them, yellow for yes orange for no. and then marked yes or no and how many in the other colums. i also got an index box to put the RSVP's in, and i seperated that into yes and no.

I had a 'master list' of all the invites (including the invisible # written on the back of the card) and I checked them off as they came in.

That sounds good! I just printed a copy of the names and addresses that I used for the invites and have been checking as they come in!

I used the guest list tracker on theknot.com. I also kept a less organized list on a spreadhseet on my comp as a back up.

I have a crazy sick color coded ridiculous spreadsheet on excel, but I'm also using a little index card file thing where I have three sections: bridal party rsvps, yeses, nos.... I would have to go through and count it if I were to use that, but that is where I'm keeping them all. everything else is on my excel sheet, and I email it to myself every few days so that it's 'backed up' in cyberland and I can get it no matter what happens to any of my computers!!! Thank you GMAIL for never deleting anything and being AWESOME!!!

I have it in an excel spreadsheet. It tallies the numbers for us and I even made it do percentages LOL!

I have an excel spreadsheet that I emailed my invite person with all the names, addresses, etc.....I added 3 columns to the right with a box titled NUMBER OF PEOPLE ATTENDING and GIFT column.........I have been updating the attending with a number as for how many are coming (2 adults, 2 kids, 4 adults, etc etc etc)..........I will also update the GIFT column after the wedding because I would like to keep track of who got us what for properly thanking them in the thank you cards.

Also, I have the index card box holder and have been keeping all the rsvps in there as well.....

I'd recommend an excel spreadsheet as you can not only put RSVPs but use for gifts, thank you notes, the possibilities are endless! Seriously I had one HUGE spreadsheet for everything!

I used an excel spreadsheet from the get-go with the guest names, addresses, number invited, Y/N, number attending, and then just added a column for table number and gift.
