How did you address (or will you) your outer envelope?

How did you address (or will you) your outer envelope?

Hi, I need your help. My mom and I are going to be addressing the invitations this month. We're not certain if 'Mr.' and 'Mrs.' should be abbreviated or spelled out.

Please give your opinions and input.

I voted Mr. and Mrs., i am not sure if it proper etiquette... but i think it looks nicer.

according to the 'brides book of etiquette'
