FH and I work together for a financial PR firm in downtown Manhattan. We began talking during a project we both were working on in fall of 2004. It was during this time the election was going on. We debated over politics and city life, while sharing with each other stories about our childhoods, friends and families. Our debates and friendship grew quickly. We became official, official at the stroke of midnight on New Year's Eve. And six months later……

In college. He lived next door to me. We were great friends, but I had a BF and he had a GF. After college we both worked in the city. On 9/11, he was one of the first people to call me and see if I was okay. From there, we just got close--closer than friends and the rest is history. He took care of me that day like my own father would have.

My ex was friends with FH brother. I met his brother and then FH walked in the room....ME and my ex were on the outs so I left him for FH and it was the est decision I ever made!!

We met when we were 14, and 16 years old. FH is best friends with my cousins, so every family event we had he was there.

Where else these days- match.com! I was actually gonna switch and was in the middle of signing up for eharmony when he IMed me. I figured I would just meet him that night and if I didn't like him, come back and finish signing up. Needless to say, I never finished.

We worked for the same company, and I was introduced to him once when I had a boyfriend, but never talked to him again after that....About 6 months after breaking up with the Ex I started noticing my FH more, and developed a huge crush, though he's shy and we never spoke. 6 months later, we got stuck at work overnight during the big Black Out with a bunch of other people....after a few late night beers he opened up, we talked for hours, went on our first date a week later and the rest is history!!
AND, turns out he liked me all along as well, he was just too shy to come talk to me.

We met originally in Junior h.s. We were in 7th and 8th grade class together. We both recall very funny specific things about one another, but at that time we were not friends. Fast forward a few years later (around 15 years old), one of my best friends started dating a guy that was friends with my fiancee. We recognized eachother and realized that for all these years we only lived 1 block away from one another! We became really good friends for years, and then decided to try to 'go out', hehe, 6 1/2 years later we are still together and planning our wedding!![]()
