How did you ask your flowergirls and/or ringbearers(or I guess you ask their parents) if they could be in the wedding party? I want to do something cute !!!

I asked the parents of ALL the non-adults in the bridal party first! (That includes juniors bm's and flower girl, etc...) I didn't make it special...I just asked them... I had my FH ask my godson if he wanted to be in the BP. (My godsons mother said: 'I dont think he knows what that means') But my godson walked into the living room and said to his sister: 'Ill be the ringbearer if you'll be the flower girl.' It was really very cute!!! (He's five by the way

My cousins are my Flowergirl and Junior Usher. I asked my Aunt and Uncle first if they would mind, considering the fact that they will be responsible for paying for their attire.
Then I got on the phone with each of them, and asked them if they would be a special part of my day. I don't think either of them understood what was up, but they were happy that I called.
