How did you ask jr. bridesmaid?

My jr. bridesmaid is FI's daughter....She already knows she is going to be in the wedding party, FI sat down with her to explain everything... Now, even though some of my bridesmaids knew too, I asked them to be in my bridal party in a special way by getting them a card and framing a picture of me and the BM I was asking...

I want a cute way to be able to do this for FI's daughter too...should I do the same with a card and a picture of us? Or something different? I wanted something a little more different, more special because she is a jr. bm and I will be her stepmom...any ideas?

ETA: Also, I am really close with her. I take her out with me a lot, so I wanted to do something really special. She is going to be 8 in July....

My jrBM is FI's daughter too. Like you, we sat her down and told her she'll be a jrBM and wear a beautiful dress, ride in the limo (to the ceremony), and carry a BoK. We took her with us to look at Stonebridge b4 we booked it and took her to look at dresses once. We also gave her one of our STDs.

I'm sending a card with a BM poem asking them each to be a BM. I'm also going to give her one even tho she already knows, and I'm going to personalize the poem a lil more. I'm thinking of buying her a necklace that has 3 circles, they link to form 1 family, but I was going to wait to give that to her as an extra thank-you gift that the other BMs wouldn't get.

I bought her a cute ring that I know she liked. Hmm, I just thought of this idea! Maybe I'll 'propose' to her like her dad did to me! Well not exacltly like it, but a more appropriate version. Aww, now I'm excited, I can't wait to see what my FI thinks!!
