how did you ask your bridal party to be in wedding

i got a few cute ideas..i wanna ask them on this valentines day...and instead of asking will you be my valentine ill ask will you be my bridesmaid and ill give them a chocolate heart..thoughts???

I love your Valentine idea! It is so cute.

I got all of my BMs a bridesmaid book - You Can Wear It Again: A Celebration of Bridesmaids' Dresses, wrote a personal note and gave it to them when I saw them.

That is a really cute idea!

I was boring and just asked in person lol. I plan to have a g2g with them though sometime in the new year and I plan to do something cute as a way of thanking them for saying yes.

I'm actually doing it for Christmas!!! Got a sale on VS makeup bags so I'll be giving them that, the bridesmaid handbook, a bridesmaid cookie, and a card.

I was in a wedding in June and my friend asked me to be her bridesmaid on Valentines day. It was really cute! She gave me a card that on the outside it said 'will you be my...' and inside 'bridesmaid?' SOOO CUTE!

I asked them all individually so no one felt uncomfortable if they were going to refuse for any reason.
But then I had all the girls over one night. I made apps and had drinks and decorated the house house in pinka dn black (my colors).
I gave them each a black tote with their initial monogrammed in hot pink, a bridesmaid handbook, a personaliszed note of what they mean to me, an individual poem for each of them in a frame and a shotglass that read 'Thank you for taking a SHOT at being my BRIDESMAID'
It was a nice night!

I printed out poems on card stock and added ribbon. Then I had a pot luck dinner with 6 out of 8 of them and asked. The others are out of state so I mailed them.

I bought my best friend a MOH handbook (from Etsy) and a really cute friendship card and inside the card I wrote: 'Will you be my Maid of Honor on May 31, 2013?'

I plan to give it to her when we exchange Christmas gifts :)
