i made cards for each of my girls....my sisters i gave a dozen roses too as well.
my moh is my best friend...her i made a scrapbook of pics of us when we 1st met...all the way till now....w/ poems and friendship sayings all over the place. Funny thing is she did the same for me and we didnt know that eachother were planning it,

I wouldn't do email - if she you don't see her often i would do it on the phone. Otherwise i think in person is nice - you get to see the reaction

My MOH was my sister so it was a given that she would be my MOH so it was very informal.

I sent her as well as my BM's cookies with their initials on them and a little note tag on it asking them...they loved them...I wrapped them in boxes and brown paper and mailed them...

don't have a pic of the finished product but here is the cookie...the one with the initial on it

I dont think I ever really came out and asked my MOH....its my sister so I guess we just assume that she knows that shes my MOH??

i should make sure she knows!!!!

I haven't done it yet, but trust me I've been asked how many girls I'm having and who they are, but I'm not talking. I sent out invites to my five girls for 'a brunch/lunch thing' and on that day I will give them a card explaining to them why I want them to be my MOH or BM. I can't wait!

My MOH is my SIL and we live a few states apart, so I asked her over the phone to make it as personable as possible.

One of mine lives in FLorida, so I sent her flowers asking her to carry flowers like this at my wedding as the maid of honor... She loved it

That's funny because I asked Mare but it was also a known fact that it was her and I was hers!!!!
Maybe I should have been more creative!!!

I made all my BM and MOH cards and wrote a paragraph tailored to each person!!! IT was fun making them. You can see the results in my album.

I have one sister and one best friend. Altough my sister will be my MOH I don't distinguish between the two - I love them both more than anything. I didn't have to ask either and I don't think either wondered who was who....

I bought nice cards for each of my bridesmaids and I asked each one separately. For my maid of honor (my best friend) who has pretty much known she will be I took her out to dinner and gave her the card asking her. Of course she said yes!!
