HOW DID YOU DEAL WITH GUEST WANTING TO INVITE CHILDREN

MY INVITATIONS WENT OUT LAST WEEK, AND I KEEP GETTING CALLS FROM MY GUEST SAYING THAT THEY WANT TO INVITE CHILDREN....

ANY SUGGESTIONS?

These invites go out months in advance for many reasons......this gives ppl plenty of time to call susie down the street to babysit for 5 bucks an hour..

Stop feeling bad or sorry about your decision and start feeling sorry that brides have to put up with this nonsense from relatives. It is unreal that ppl wouldnt go bc of this....

This isnt Chucky Cheese. and by no means are you obligated to invite kids.

Ive heard of brides telling ppl 'my contract with my hall only allows for 18 and over or 21 and over.

so deceptive....Passing the buck......I love that idea!!

better to have them have that burden that if they bring their kids it ruins my day and i get in trouble... teach them a lesson...

We simply said '18+' on the notes with the invites. Don't feel bad. Kid are MONSTERS at weddings. They get bored. Who can blame them for being terrors. We will have one baby there (my cousin's daughter from Puerto Rico) because she will be with my aunt (her grandma). She is 2 so I am not thrilled but I can't do anything with her because my whole family will be there. But then again I have to cut the kid some slack..her dadys a druggie and momma's a stripper. She has issues of ehr own!

I dont understand why guests want to bring their kids on a night when u get to dance, stuff ur face and get smashed for free???

I dont wanna hear 'oh we never get to go out anymore'
